101 Okey Guide
How to Play 101 Okey
101 Okey is a more strategic variant of Okey. The key difference: you open melds on the table and lay off tiles.
Deal and indicator
Four players play. The dealer gets 22 tiles, others get 21. The revealed indicator sets the okey (joker) for the hand.
On your turn you draw from the pile or the left player's discard, then throw one tile.
Opening (at least 101 points)
To join play you must open melds on the table. Your runs and sets must total at least 101 points.
A run scores the sum of its numbers (red 4-5-6 = 15). A set scores number × count (four-color 13 = 52).
Laying off and finishing
After opening, you can add matching tiles to any open meld on the table (yours or opponents').
You finish by placing all your tiles and throwing your last one. Play2Chat validates opens and finishes against the rules.
